It's amazing how he got me deep into psycho-analysis...Somehow Scary!I already imagened a black starving dog walks behind me every night O_OPerfect! perfect! Although quite non-traditional for Ahmed Mourad to explore this genre of writing but, as expected, he excelled at it. The novel starts as if it is following the traditional crime lines followed in Vertigo and "Torab El Mas" but takes a completely different and more exciting twist while progressing. What I didn't like is the excessive use of drinking, drugs and sex (although quite essential for the plot and is really used very cleverly).In short, really immersing novel, REALLY
Gripping! A thrilling plot. I really liked it. It had the power to pin me to a chair and get me to follow through in four days despite everything else that's happening in my life. It's well written and shortlisted for the 2014 International Prize for Arabic Fiction. Though I doubt it will win given its contenders, it deserves a lot of recognition for having reached the shortlist.Totally amazing i finished it at 1 and half day. But still 3 stars bc i wanted or excepted a logic ending, like a disease or something. But still very nice :)

This one was totally different and even more catchy, a new writing style, not in Ahmed Mourad's way i mean new style in the story and somehow in the way he keeps the readers interested .. less disgusting scenes is what i really needed from him after "تراب الماس".The "DMT" world as i call it was just boring at some parts but not so boring to stop me from keep reading the story.anyway it was really good and i wasn't disappointed and i can't wait for his 4th novel.
i think its a very good one and attractive as well..u cant drop the book b4 u finish it,,but too much info about alcohols, drugs that meant nothing actually what type of alcohol will he drink!!! what a show off..the dreams and how its wrote like a scene u can imagine infront of ur eyes was really genius..how the conflict happened of who is exactly sick and who is not i found it very clever and attracting more to continue reading..ahmed morad made a novel that takes him to a different level of a
