And then a miracle happens. The locket burns on Katie's chest and she feels herself going back two weeks in time, to the night she cheated with Mitch. At first, Kate is delighted to be a better girlfriend to Isaac this time around. I wasn't supposed to read this book until 9th March, the day my exam ends. But I couldn't resist it and took a peek... and ended up finishing the whole book in 2 days. Which explains why I'm writing this review now. I want to share the good news - I really like it!At first, the locket sounded like a great gift from God - it enabled Katie to travel back in time and fix the mistake she made two weeks ago, that was cheating on her boyfriend Isaac by kissing her best friend Mitch. And I bet you knowFull review posted at Amaterasu Reads Katie made a mistake, and she wishes she can undo it. One simple kiss, one make out, and everything crumbled. Isaac, her boyfriend, found out on her birthday and broke up with her, and now she's confused and wondering why she allowed her best friend Mitch to kiss her. Katie, who tries so hard to prove to everyone that she's worth having Isaac as a boyfriend, that she can also be a part of the "platinums", that she can be popular. Then the locket comes, and
Another book that I did enjoyed reading. It is a simple yet fascinating and engaging story. The time travel stuff in here is created excellently.Katie, Isaac and Mitch are the main characters in the story. They were best of friends since they were kids. Katie and Isaac eventually became a couple. Everything is fine between them until Katie make a mistake of kissing Mitch. She lost Isaac because of that and Katie is so devastated that shell do anything to get him back. And the locket that she

It took me a little while to read this. I'm used to Jay's wry humor in her Megan Berry books (You are so Undead to Me and Undead Much?) or her satirical humor in My So-Called Death. So in other words I'm used to her Zombie humor. The Locket is a completely different horse. Jay's wit is evident--Katie is nothing if not a quick thinker--but it just didn't grab me the same way.Everybody has mistakes they wish they could undo, so when Katie gets the ability to she jumps at the chance. Who thinks of
Some mistakes weren't meant to last.Have you ever wanted to change a mistake? What would you do if you could go back in time, to that precise moment and undo it? What would it change? For Katie Mottola, everything changed...Already a fan of Stacy Jay's Megan Berry zombie series, I couldn't wait to see what this book would be like. I love the idea of time travel but yet to find a lot of stories about them for YA, so I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed this one.The Locket is ultimately about
This book is very intense and very fast paced. The reader is able to get into the book fast cause of the great story line. The story line of this book is just filled with non-action, drama, secrets, and betrayals. All the things I love to see in books. As the story lines flows, the reader get more into the story of the locket and what is really does. I like it when a character can time travel and changes things. But I also like how Ms. Jay interpreted the consequence of changing the past. That
After reading and loving Stacey Jay's two Megan Berry novels, I just couldn't wait to see what her next YA novel would be... and when I heard about The Locket, I just knew I had to get my hands on it right away. Well, I finally got a chance to read it the other night and it was so good! My only regret is not getting to it sooner because I think it may just be my favourite novel of hers yet!Stacey Jay's previous novels may have centered around zombie settling, but I'm still considering The Locket
