Sherine Hanaey succeeded in giving reason to fantasy. This novel makes you experience unbelievable things in a way that makes you link them to your everyday life. This mix of reality and fantasy is what makes it a masterpiece.First, I really liked it a lot , I read the book just in two days and when i got to bed i was thinking about the story and my engine was running fast eager to finish it and to know what will happen next , was thinking about the blue boy , about Aser how he will die. I really like the diaries that Rana was writing to Aser, they were very nice. Second,I really liked how the writer did put all together so easy that i almost believed it. The description was good i pictured how the people were acting
The opinion I developed reading it is that it's totally different from the author's first novel "necrophilia" . I really liked how things are going , the characters and almost everything . Just the part about Feminism on which I have nothing but what I truly think is that it's quite difficult not to find this "part" in a book written by a female . I am ready to read any other novel by the same author but if I were to recommend I'll start with "necrophilia" !!
Omg I'm finally done with this book. at some point I just wanted it to end because of its complexity. Also I sometimes felt that I'm taken to another book she didn't integrate the facts with the story properly. I didn't like how Rana had to in close her sorrows as a wife ... she didn't express herself ... One of the reasons why her marriage collapsed ... And Zain was a typical man if she doesn't talk and I'm providing her with material stuff she is fine .. basically they don't understand that

really scary though I hated the end, I loved the start of it how she wrote diary for her unborn son :)
I dont know how I feel about this book...Its definitely my type - a confusing, creepy, marvelous story - and it has a lot of potential. But it took longer than needed. It wouldve been much better if it was shorter, theres a lot of unnecessary details that couldve been easily skipped.
