After reading The Vampire King and having some questions about a few of the characters that popped up, I decided, since I liked that book so much, to try the Big Bad Wolf series by Killough-Walden. I must say after reading the first book in the series I'm impressed and excited. I really like Walden's storytelling ability. Although her werewolves weren't nearly as believable as others I have read, she can tell a story that grabs you and doesn't let you go. Her style is slightly dark, almost cynical in nature - sometimes more than I like (although admittedly, I'm a lightweight.)
