Ilustration In Pursuance Of Books The Asylum (The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries #5)

The fifth book in the New York Times bestselling series by L.J. Smith.

The Asylum is the fifth book in L.J. Smith’s bestselling Stefan’s Diaries series, which reveals the backstory of brothers Stefan and Damon from The Vampire Diaries series. This paperback features cover artwork from the hit CW TV series The Vampire Diaries, starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder.

Trust has never come easily to Stefan and Damon, but now that Samuel—a vampire from Katherine’s past bent on revenge—is determined to ruin their lives, the Salvatores must join forces to defeat their foe. Samuel has already ruined Stefan’s chances at a normal life, and now he’s framing Damon for the Jack the Ripper murders, too. With the help of Cora, a human girl, Stefan and Damon track Samuel from the glittering ballrooms of London to the city’s asylum, which Samuel uses for his own nefarious purposes. However, while finding Samuel is easy, Damon and Stefan quickly learn that stopping him may be nearly impossible.

Full of dark shadows and surprising twists, the fifth book in the New York Times bestselling Stefan’s Diaries series raises the stakes for the Salvatore brothers as they face new loves, old treacheries, and unimaginable threats. Fans of L. J. Smith’s New York Times bestselling Vampire Diaries series as well as the hit television show won’t be able to put the latest Salvatore adventure down.

Evaluation About Books The Asylum (The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries #5)
AwesomeIt was great. It went along well with the history from the tv show. I expect the next one to be just as good.

Omg this book was torture. Use a fucking thesaurus ffs. How many times can you use the word hiss??? The writing was terrible and I am so sick of this Jack the Ripper and Samuel shit. No wonder they only wrote one more of these books after this. The first two were great and it just went downhill from there.

Compelling story

From the title, I was not expecting The Asylum to be a home for wayward girls? lol Warning! This one ends in a huge cliffhanger! Plus, we got excerpts from Stefan's Diaries #6: The Compelled AND from The Vampire Diaries: The Hunters Vol. 1: The Phantom (which I've already read). Okay, now that you know that, I have questions about where Stef's Diaries is going. SPOILERY! If (that's a big "if") they manage to just kill off Samuel, how will they ever clear Damon's name of The Jack the Ripper

The cover:I hate Elena but I love Nina Dobrev and Katherine, which means, when I look at this cover, I say to myself that this is Katherine and not Elena, or else Ill dislike the cover. Just a point of view. Anyways, I love all TVD: Stefans Diaries covers, for some reason, Im a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries font style *____*.The storyline:I got used to L. J.s writing style. When reading her books, I embrace myself for a very slow paced beginning, a somehow intriguing middle and a very

This one was better than the last book. Stephan and Damon have no choice but to unit together since they have now become the hunted. Good development of the characters and more action as they try avoid getting captured. They are trying keep alive and at the same time seek revenge against a much more power vampire. Yet they are trying to figure out why... why would such a powerful and wealthy vampire want them out of his way? and what mystery connection does he have to someone from their past.

I just finished up this book last night and I've gotta say that I wasn't that happy with the way they are going about the story line. I mean in the show when Katherine finally told the brothers that she was shipping vervain, they acted like they have never heard anyone else doing that. Yet in this book first Samuel and his brother was doing it and now late in the book Damon was starting himself out training to be immune. That is just one of many things that I didn't think should have been
