I was dying to know WHY Emma's mom is on the run, hiding on land since World War II . And guess what? IT IS ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST STUPID LAMEST REASON EVER. The whole story line is weak, there's no substance and supposedly 100-300 years old Syrena are all acting like some childish brainless teenagers. At the tribunal,all their arguments are so damn funny because it was SOOOOO immature. Seriously , Syrena needs lawyers from land. So much ridiculousness in this book - I don't even know where to begin.Emma is a teenager and in high school. She goes to class once randomly in the middle of the book. Then at the end she goes to prom. The entire rest of the book she's missing school and it's NEVER MENTIONED. Like... if prom was so important, you'd think she would talk about it. Or think about it. Of Triton was an awesome addition to this series. It was fun and totally kept the wonderful pacing that its predecessor Of Poseidon delivered.This sequel takes place right where Of Poseidon left off.
