********3.5 Stars*******Okay, so let's face it, there are a lot of angel books out on the market these days, and it's a challenge to find one that stands out as unique. There are only so many angles you can take with this theme, unless you really think outside the box. Echo of an Earth Angel wasn't something that stands out as entirely new and different, but it was an intriguing story with lovable characters, and I enjoyed Sarah Ross' take on the angel theme!Tessa was really struggling to get#1 Earth Angel TrilogyOh My God! This story started off with a bang and you'd better believe me that I was deeply entranced and could hardly put the book down !!! Tess and David fell madly in love. Then Morgan and Tess were such true friends and sexy Andre had fallen for Morgan....It was unbelievable and intense, but I loved the bit that both David and Andre were angels! I JUST COULDN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN! I IMMEDIATELY ORDERED THE REST OF THE TRILOGY AND I AM SOOO EXCITED TO GET MY MY KINDLE
Another great book from a very talented author! Once I picked this up, couldn't put it down. First I want to thank Sarah Ross for sending me an eARC of Echo of an Earth Angel. I fell in love with her other book, Awaken, back in January. So to say I was excited to read another book for a different series is an understatement. My favorite part of this book, is how Sarah Ross has intertwined love and self-sacrifice and friendship. TheFriendship of Morgan and Tessa is amazing. Morgan, stays with her best friend, while she was in a coma for a year. After Tessa came out of the coma, Morgan than moves in with her. You learn of Tessa's Tragic day, that lead up to her being in a coma. You will learn about David and how his endearing love for tessa is so great, that he will be willing to give up everything to keep her safe.
This book was quite different from the normal YA PNR books I've read. Many of the angel based stories out there focus on the battle between heaven and hell, angels and demons, good versus evil, the fight to keep the apocalypse at bay, and although this story still had some of these elements, it was more about the betrayal and deception going on within the ranks of heaven itself. With the different type of angel factions, from Hunters to Incarnators, it was interesting and I wanted to know more.
