White Is for Magic (Blue is for Nightmares #2)
A year has passed since Stacey Brown saved her best friend from a horrible death. Now she's having nightmares again, haunted by ghosts of the brutally murdered . . . and by a crazed stalker.
As she desperately casts healing spells, a new student named Jacob enters her world. Beautiful and mysterious, he reveals that he is also having dreams. To stop a killer, they must join together.
But can Jacob be trusted? Or will this new love cause her darkest dreams to come true?
This one was ok, but got a little repetitive after a bit. I enjoy all the magic elements and spell work though.
I thought that this book was better than the first one. I still wasn't too crazy about Stacy's friends, but I did thoroughly enjoy Jacob's character. He was really interesting especially since he was similar to Stacy in multiple ways. It was also interesting to have Stacy deal with both her nightmares and the "ghost groupies." It provided more mystery and anticipation to who the stalker/killer could be and what her dreams meant.

It was fine, I liked it but I'm not that enthusiastic about it.It was better that the first one (that I completely forgot) but I can't give it more that 3/5.I enjoyed the story and I will finish the series no matter what haha
This one was definitely better than the first and I think I give that credit to Jacob - who is by far the best character to come out of this series so far. I like how the author kept him very secretive literally up until the last minute. I don't think there was really one thing I didn't like about him. Now, as for everyone else...I like PJ, he's entertaining and always good for a laugh. Amber, I really just don't get. Chad - no comment. Drea - hmph...bitch and worst friend ever (I don't think my
Awesome read!!!!I know it's only three stars but I have come to realize that it takes a lot to get a five star. The thing should be a work of art to get a five. Three means I really enjoyed it still. It was better than the first. I love the introduction of Jacob I think he is an awesome character for Stacey. The struggle between her and "her attacker" was well written and believable. Dream still annoys the living daylights outta me. Australian be a bitch of a friend and this book she is the
I was worried about reading this since it's been so long since I read the first book, but everything was recapped very nicely. White is for Magic is a great sequel and carries on the story easily. The characters are crazy and amazing, and it all felt really believable. While I'm not a fan of romance, I like how it was done in this book. It didn't feel rushed at all like most young adult novels these days. The plot was captivating and interesting. I'm excited to read the rest of the series.

*Spoilers* Literally the exact same storyline as the first book, the climax even happens in the same location. I was really hoping this would be better then the first but the author just slapped some new characters in a reused the plot from the first. The whole dating the best-friends ex boyfriend thing was just as annoying as it was in the first book, seriously what friend does that!? And the mystery person who is tormenting stacey was stupid. Why the hell make the stalker someone random who'sThis one was ok, but got a little repetitive after a bit. I enjoy all the magic elements and spell work though.
