Interpretation Concering Books Unseen (Will Trent #7)

Karin Slaughter’s novels featuring Special Agent Will Trent are utterly riveting and masterfully drawn. Her latest thriller, Unseen, pits detectives, lovers, and enemies against one another in an unforgettable standoff between righteous courage and deepest evil.

Will Trent is a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent whose latest case has him posing as Bill Black, a scary ex-con who rides a motorcycle around Macon, Georgia, and trails an air of violence wherever he goes. The cover has worked and he has caught the eye of a wiry little drug dealer who thinks he might be a useful ally. But undercover and cut off from the support of the woman he loves, Sara Linton, Will finds his demons catching up with him.

Although she has no idea where Will has gone, or why, Sara herself has come to Macon because of a cop shooting: Her stepson, Jared, has been gunned down in his own home. Sara holds Lena, Jared’s wife, responsible: Lena, a detective, has been a magnet for trouble all her life, and Jared’s shooting is not the first time someone Sara loved got caught in the crossfire. Furious, Sara finds herself involved in the same case that Will is working without even knowing it, and soon danger is swirling around both of them.

In a novel of fierce intensity, shifting allegiances, and shocking twists, two investigations collide with a conspiracy straddling both sides of the law. Karin Slaughter’s latest is both an electrifying thriller and a piercing study of human nature: what happens when good people face the unseen evils in their lives.

Crit Regarding Books Unseen (Will Trent #7)
Even the good dudes are bad. If you want to study the cracks of our society, the miscreants that have taken away every good and decent character and sucked it into a giant black hole, leaving us with this dark void that hovers around like a bumblebee, then Karin Slaughter is an author that should probably appear on your radar, if she hasnt already. Her characters ooze evil through their pores, and I cant seem to contain my enjoyment for her novels. Not sure what that says about me, other than

This was number seven in the Will Trent mysteries, and out of all of her books (and for those of you who follow my reviews, you know I adore her) it was my least favorite. The plot was hard to follow, and the story was done rather like a patchwork quilt. I had to try hard to keep up with what was going on. Still, the characters were full and vibrant, and there was plenty of action to be had. Number eight was wonderful (I accidentally read it after number one), and her newest novel is coming out

Everything, everything, everything a violent crime thriller should be, and the best Slaughter book to date. (view spoiler)[ I am even more irritated with The Shining Girls now. Grrrrr. (hide spoiler)]Review to come. Wow.

Ive been skimming this book once again before starting The Kept Woman tomorrow with some lovely ladies. This book.....this series is AMAZING! I cannot recommend it enough. Will Trent!!!!! *****************************************At the end of September I started this series. I had no idea if I was going to like it or not. I had never read Crime Fiction before and didnt know what to expect. I love Romantic Suspense but these books were definitely different. There really wasnt any romance at all in

4.5-starsI have been rooting for Will Trent since book 1. Karin Slaughter creates a complex, unconventional protagonist to carry the series and in Unseen, I find something new about Will: he has no idea how romantic he turns out to be. Crime investigation is the focus in each installment for the most part, but the author also writes Wills love affair with great intensity that captures all the raw emotions such as jealousy, deceits, anger, fear, relief and heartbreak. This is a top-notch series

Since I can't figure out how to add comments, I want to assure folks that there will be more Will Trent books coming up. I hope y'all enjoy Cop Town in the meantime. I just love Will and Sara so much that I want to make sure I always tell the best stories for them. Sometimes that takes more thinking time than others. Stay tuned!

So good! Loved Sara and Will together!! (view spoiler)[The declarations, the understanding, the passion and desperation. (hide spoiler)] Oh, my heart! And that was just the romance. The mystery was pretty darn good, too! Had a different opinion of Lena Adams by the end. (view spoiler)[Some people do learn from their mistakes. (hide spoiler)] And thank you, thank you, thank you!!! : (view spoiler)[ No Angie (HATE that bitch!!) in this one!! (hide spoiler)] *throws confetti*Favorite quotes/scene:
