The Future of Us was a big disappointment. Did this really come from the same, insightful writer of Thirteen Reasons Why? I haven't read anything by the woman he co-wrote it with, so I'm going to blame her for creating such a boy-obsessed, annoying, female protagonist. This was a cute story. The book's a little simplistic (the 16-point font didn't help), nothing groundbreaking or amazing, but it was still enjoyable. I'd recommend it not only for teenagers but for those who were teenagers in the mid '90s. It was fun to go back and realize how different life was, how much we take for granted now.
